It is with great pride that I announce the promotion of our
daughter, Georgette Lilly. She has been a long time employee of the
Dept. of Justice, United States Attorney's Office, Eastern District of
Kentucky. She has been serving until recently, as the Victim Witness
Coordinator for the District. She has been promoted to the position of
Victim Witness Program Manager, for the Executive Office of the United States
Attorney in Washington. She will continue to live and work in Lexington,
but half of her duties will now be dedicated to working on national projects
in the area of victim services for the 93 Federal Districts across the United
States that are charged with prosecuting violations of federal law.
Along with the promotion she received a higher rating of GS 13. This is
a brand new position and Georgette was one of 5 persons across the nation
asked to serve in this capacity. She is really excited and hopeful she
will be able to do some meaningful work in the areas of child exploitation,
terrorism, legal issues and victim services.
Needless to say, her dad and I are both extremely proud of her
and we feel she will do a wonderful job.
Thank you, Chuck for letting me brag a bit.

She came home with 2 bronze medals. She was also invited to perform on stage during the K-1 Fights televised live across Europe. This is a picture of her on stage (over 7,000 live spectators and she was doing her form to the song "Cotton Eye Joe" and had the whole stadium dancing):
