THE WEDDING Lovers Lane United Methodist Church in Dallas, TX October 23, 1999 A traditional Methodist service was held in the large sanctuary at 7:30PM. The contemporary sanctuary with 25 floor to ceiling stained glass windows was decorated with large arrangements of deep red, apricot, and golden colored roses. The candelabras let off a beautiful glow at the front of the sanctuary and on the altar. Christy wore a "Diamond White" silk gown with a straight neckline and spaghetti straps of bugle beads and pearls. The dress had beadwork at the top of the bodice, the waistline, and along the bottom, which went into a cathedral length train. The veil was elbow length, and fell over the buttons and bows along the back of her dress. Her bouquet was a mix of deep red, apricot, and golden colored roses with hydrangea. The Bridesmaids wore long, black dresses with buttons along the back of the velvet bodice, and carried one Vendella Cream Rose. The Flower Girl, Alexis Sheridan Greene (the brides niece) wore a black velvet and silver-gray satin dress, and carried a basket full of rose petals. Benny wore a tailored 3-button tuxedo with a silver-gray vest and Windsor tie. The Groomsmen, Ushers, and Ring Bearers wore tailored 3-button tuxedoes with black vests and bow ties.
